The inception of DeepwaterQA & Engineering began in 2010 with a group of project execution experts consulting in house for the largest public E&P Operator in the world. After delivering countless ZERO NPT wells in 28+ regions globally and refining our methods, the decision was made to commercialize our proprietary methods to benefit the industry.

Zohair Memon created DeepwaterQA & Engineering by harnessing skills from his extensive consulting career, a BS in Petroleum Engineering from University of Houston, and an MBA from Rice University – Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business. The proprietary DeepwaterQA & Engineering methodologies are a result of Zohair contributing to multiple record-breaking projects worldwide within ExxonMobil and multiple other E&P Operators globally. Zohair has served as a direct hire consultant and subcontractor executing projects for ExxonMobil, Cobalt International, Total Energies, EnVen Energy, Cudd Well Control, Repsol, Santos Ltd, Petronas, Shell, BSEE, DNV, and many more. Zohair is a native Houstonian that is known for his personable personality and immense commitment to driving continuous improvement within the oil and gas industry.
