The Deepwater Wellheads for this Total exploratory well were well behind schedule due to COVID19 Vendor layoffs as the rig was approaching South Africa. With no delivery date in sight our Principal Assurance Engineer, Zohair Memon, was contacted (subcontracted) due to his expert knowledge of wellhead manufacturing and mobilization.

He successfully implemented effective expediting and proven industrial engineering techniques to align the vendor resources and ship the wellheads/save the spud date. Zohair previously expediting wellheads to French Guiana in 2018 for Total with the same results!
